Castaway Portland Wedding: Jenny + Joe

Castaway Portland is one of my favorite venues because natural light just floods every room. I'll always have a soft spot for industrial spaces, and beautiful light is the key to amazing photography. Sometimes we "create" it using off-camera flashes, but most of the time we hunt for that window light that brings it's own creative freedom. 

Jenny and Jo met randomly in line at school and apparently it was love at first sight.  To be their photographer was like getting a front row seat for their love story as friends and family celebrated this long anticipated event. A very special part of their story is the miracle baby that Jenny and Jo were unexpectedly blessed to receive. Baby boy Herbst is coming in May :D They kept the gender a secret till their reception slideshow with their special announcement ;)

Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Wedding: Ty + Laurel

Cornelius Pass is one of those wedding venues that can be elevated to a level of Northwest  beauty that is truly reflective of the bride and groom. It's rustic, charming and with the addition of great florals and a killer coordinator-(Lisa Marie Events!) it's breathtaking. 

 Laurel and Tyson are incredibly selfless people, they really cared about each of their guests and attendants and wanted to ensure that everyone was having a lovely time. They have been sweet hearts for years so it was such a delight to see them declared "man and wife". The celebration was full of laughter and tears, I loved being a part of this Cornelius Pass Wedding.
