This Sauvie Island engagement was so relaxing. I met Laurel at our booth during the Luxe Bridal event and just fell in love with her. She has such a sweet spirit, it's obvious that Jay has won the heart of one truly beautiful woman. Late in the afternoon we met up to shoot in the softer light, and I brought along an off-camera flash for some variety.
This is one of my favorite engagement to date, the film, the colors- the couple! It was a perfect day at the Beach even though we were surounded by thousands of Spring Break vacationers. With a little creativity it worked beautifully.

Fuji 400 rated at 200 is such a dreamy film and one of my favorites. All shot on my Pentax 645
