Dec 12th dawned a crisp and beautifully clear day. All the umbrellas went un-needed in my trunk and it was SO refreshing to finish off 2020 with such lovely weather and lovely human beings! It was a special honor to photograph this event as I’ve known the families involved for many years and could celebrate with all my heart as well as my camera shutter.
Stephen & Lisa, thank you for including me in this day you will always remember as one of your happiest. Much love to you both.
What an honor to be witness to this very intimate “life-streamed” wedding. When WWII was engulfing Europe in chaos, young couples didn’t give up on love or marriage— they gave up some of their expectations and focused on what truly mattered. And while we are not currently living in a world war (thank God) we do have to choose to focus on what truly matters. In difficult times, we don’t give up, we adapt!
Which lead to this beautiful ceremony overlooking the Tillamook Head in Gearheart, Oregon.
Love surmounts every obstacle. And aren’t we glad it does? Covid, Riots and Economic downturns can’t stop it, it only makes it more clear what we truly value.
It was such an honor to be a part of this wedding, Lauren and Matt (with one t or two? We’ll never know ;P) are best friends who truly bring out the best in the other. I sense that their friendship will only deepen over time, and it’s certainly a union that their family, friends and community can celebrate and honor.
