Ponzi Vineyard Wedding: Nick + Rachel

This Ponzi Vineyard wedding is sumptuous display of superb taste and abiding love. Rachel and Nick, aside from being highly competent professionals and ridiculously good-looking have a playful ease with one another. Rachel exudes queenly elegance and Nick has that gentlemanly charm that makes you like him at once. When together they are as natural as two fingers of the same hand and compliment each others strengths like every couple should. It was such a privilege to be a part of this intimate soiree at Ponzi Vineyard and to watch as they became husband and wife surrounded by loved ones.

Romantic Ponzi Vineyard Wedding: Portland Wedding Photographer

Ponzi Vineyard is one of my favorite locations to shoot, both Sherwood and Dundee feature  gorgeous vistas and of course... vineyards. For most photographers, vineyard weddings are an opportunity to shoot with gorgeous lines and creative posing.

Looking back over our Fall wedding shoot at Ponzi Vineyards I had to pull out a few favorites ;) I love styled shoots because they give the vendors in the Portland Wedding industry a chance to shine. Most of the time, a vendor is doing what the bride wants- not always her best work. Hence the styled shoots. As a portland wedding photographer, it gives me a chance to show my fashion side. I love fashion photography, always have since launching my clothing line. ( a lot time ago!) I think wedding photos can get pretty stale if not given a fresh inspiration and fresh perspective. Fashion has done that for my work.

I made this cake by stacking cheesecakes together and drizzling them with chocolate syrup. #ghettofab Thank you to Style Me Pretty for featuring this shoot :) Who doesn't love cheesecake right? Earrings came from Nordstrom.
