How to: Off-Camera Back-lit Portraits

This is such a simple concept, but produces really beautiful images. Set your off camera flash at 1/4 power, using a set of triggers to sync. Place the flash where you want it, experimenting with how it impacts the image. Here's an example from last Saturday's wedding at Pomeroy Farms. Next time, I would pop them a little stronger from the front to illuminate their faces a bit more.
