How I Shoot Bridal Parties

I do find traditional bridal party photos rather stiff and boring, you know the kind, the ones where everyone stands in a line and smiles like 8 prom couples. Yikes. Eeep. Hand me a blindfold! I think that Vogue Mag and other such fashion publications have really changed the face of group shots. The horrors of the 80s have dissipated and made way for all bridal parties to look hot in peace.

I typically start with 2 chairs, depending on the size of the bridal party and start moving people around, getting the shot visually balanced. Always a shot with a posh, vogue attitude; the other with smiles and laughs, talking amongst themselves.

Oh, I love these people.

Who doesn't love balloons ?
